Annual Fire Extinguisher Maintenance

This program will ensure that all fire extinguishers are ready for use. All staff are certified by Underwriters Laboratory of Canada to perform this maintenance. The Fire Code states that all fire extinguishers need to be maintained.

AWSA (CPI) Warehouse Phase III Audits

All AWSA (CPI) Phase III Chemical Warehouses must be certified every two years by a certified Auditor. We have three Certified Auditors on staff throughout the prairie region.

Canadian Seed Institute (CSI) Consulting and Assessing

All Registered Seed Establishments (RSE) must develop a Quality Assurance Manual and go through an on-site assessment to meet CSI accreditation. We have three certified CSI Consultants and Assessors on staff to provide these services to bulk storage facilities (BSF) , approved conditioner facilities (AC) and organic operations.

Commercial Insurance

We market and service a full line of insurance products for a variety of commercial clients. We have extensive specialized experience in marketing and servicing the insurance requirements of the vast agricultural community. We represent numerous financially stable insurance companies.

Loss Prevention Surveys

A thorough inspection of your facilities identifying potential fire/liability hazards. Includes machinery conditions (bearing conditions, gear box oil levels, leg belt alignment), as well as electrical hazards identification. A written report is provided for follow up. Annual fire extinguisher maintenance can be included with this survey.

Confined Space Assessments

All confined spaces need to be identified and must be assessed for hazards prior to entry. The confined space assessment includes assessing the hazards which may include air monitoring, entry and rescue requirements. The assessment will be summarized with a written report as required by legislation.

Safety Audits

A thorough inspection of your facility to identify safety hazards with a written report. The survey could also include reviewing your WHMIS program, personal protective equipment needs (safety glasses, hearing protection, hand protection, etc.). Assistance can be provided to set up an Emergency Response Team.
